At 6oz we believe that great coffee starts with exceptional beans. That's why we go to great lengths Coorg and Chikkamagaluru to source only the finest coffee beans from the picturesque plantations in the renowned regions of India. Our commitment to quality begins at the source, where we carefully select beans that meet our exacting standards for flavor, freshness, and sustainability.

Our Sourcing

We work directly with coffee farmers we know by name, not middlemen we’ll never meet. These are long-term relationships built on trust, fair pricing, and shared pride in quality. Each lot is grown with care, using practices that respect both the land and the people who work it. Because we source directly, we know exactly where our coffee comes from — from the estate it’s grown on to the cup you drink. Nothing hidden. Nothing outsourced. Just coffee made the right way.

Our Roasting

Every coffee we roast is handled by people who care deeply about getting it right. We roast in small batches, paying close attention to how each bean responds to heat, time, and airflow. There’s no fixed formula — just careful tasting, adjustment, and patience. Our goal isn’t to overpower the bean, but to let its natural character come through clearly in the cup. What you taste is the result of thoughtful roasting, done slowly and with intention.

Quality control

For us, quality is something we've come to value over time rather than a list. Because uniformity can only be achieved by paying attention, each roast is tasted, modified, and then tasted once again. We don't take short cuts or hurry batches. When coffee is properly roasted, it is packaged right away to preserve its flavour. What you get is coffee that we personally feel comfortable giving to ourselves. It doesn't leave our roastery if it's incorrect. Although it's a straightforward standard, we take it seriously.
